Eve Gravel - Gifted with uncommon creativity and great vision, it is hardly surprising that Eve Gravel is now considered to be one of Quebec's most promising young fashion designers. At just 30 years of age, she heads Eve Gravel, the self-named label which has been attracting attention for 15 seasons now, thanks to a decidedly personal style that combined freshness, daring and flawless cuts.
After honing her skills for three years in the service of a well-known designers Georges Levesque, Kevin Alwood (Nevik) and Kathleen Kovats, this graduate of the Richard Robinson Academy of Fashion in Ottawa headed for Europe in quest of new sources of inspiration and knowledge. It was then that the idea of establishing her own firm to market her vision of fashion first began to take shape.
Given her trademark determination, just months after her return, Even Gravel founded Eve Gravel Design. Rather than pursue a single approach season after season, the designer chose to offer her growing clientele collections that dress the uncompromising woman who knows who she is.
"I create my collections based on what I experience and what I feel," explains Eve Gravel. "There are days when I feel like a woman, and others when I feel like a tomboy or a mischievous child. For me, fashion is a way of expressing a full range of emotions."
