My artisitic approach involved the practice of termitically burrowing past technological conveniences to reveal methods that compliment notstalgic themes, sometimes referred to as "Oldification". Recycled elements, faded colours, layered/collaged backgrounds, and sandpapered imagery all play a part in this process, along with the use of bold observationsal line and memory dissolved Rockwellian imagery. Often disregarding conventioal rectangular canvases for manipulated wooden shaped to help emphasize theme and subject, I try to use art as a translation of experience and obsercation that derives inspiration from environment and memory.
